BEGINNING ON 4 OCTOBER 2023, THE WHOLE STORY WILL BE TOLD WITH THE RELEASE OF ALL THE SCOLE FILES TO COMMEMORATE THE THIRTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE START OF THE EXPERIMENT...

The four core members of The Scole Group were the very experienced and knowledgeable psychical researchers who conducted all approximately 500 of The Scole Experiment Afterlife (and Consciousness) Research Sessions between 1993 and 1998. Nearly all of The Scole Sessions (often two hours in duration) were recorded on cassette tape.

Invited psychical researchers from outside of The Scole Group (mostly members of the highly respected Society for Psychical Research – SPR) attended about 40 of the 500 sessions over the 5-year duration of The Scole Experiment.

The Scole Group members were therefore joined by other psychical researchers for less than 10% of The Scole Experiment Afterlife Research Sessions. From 1999 onwards, The Scole Book, The Scole Report, The Scole Diary, The Scole Documentary and The Scole Commentary (whether supportive, neutral, critical, or sceptical) have collectively told perhaps only 10% of The Scole Story.

In 2022, The Scole Group asked the curators of The Scole Files to share – for study and discussion ('educational purposes only') – all of The Scole Files online, including the 90% never before publicly seen or heard.
