This program contained video of Robin Foy and still pictures of the sitters and the séance room.
It then showed a recreation of the events at Scole which were the product of erroneous fabricated, speculation.
There were excellent graphics of the energy column shot with points of light. I know this was described by Patrick McKenna, one of the Scole 'Communicators'. It was not explained that this column was not visible to the sitters who were in total darkness. Patrick described it as 'Earth exhaust energy'.
The program went on to speculate that the voices heard at the séance where coming from a person hidden in the room before the séance started, speaking through a three inch plastic pipe about five feet long. No mention was made of the variety of the voices at Scole or the information they conveyed. These could not have been made by a single person shouting thought a plastic water pipe. This was a gross distortion of the truth. It is fabricated nonsense.
The light phenomena were shown as much larger and not points of light in the darkness. These were mind-directed energy phenomena. Some of these lights were able to go through the table, and also enter the body of some sitters. They could also be felt and respond to thought. Perhaps an inconvenient fact for the program makers to accept.
The apports were sensationalised by showing them as:
I do not think that any of these objects were on the list of apports received during the Scole Experiment. The fact that the apports which arrived at Scole where warm to the touch was never mentioned.
All of these apports were claimed to have been dropped by the person hidden behind a curtain in the séance room. Which ignores the fact that sitters were asked to search the room before the lights were switched off for the duration of the séance. If such a person existed, they would have been unable to find the table, avoiding the sitters, in total darkness.
The program went on to show a picture which was impressed onto sealed film. It was of a partially formed ladies face amongst a group of blobs. This is not the picture I would have chosen. There are many much better pictures available.
A so-called photographic expert then claimed the film had been made before it went into the séance room. No mention was made of the controls which were put in place to prevent this, or the scientists who brought their own film or the Kodak representative who did the same. The factory seals on the film were inspected and signed on some occasions. Some films which were bought by sitters inside a locked box and did not leave the hands of the sitter during the whole sitting. They were present when the films were developed to avoid any chance of a switch being made.
Also some films contained text and one – a circuit diagram with the initials of Thomas Edison – was drawn and written along the whole length of the film. This was never mentioned.
So this program portrayed an entirely false explanation of the remarkable work carried out during The Scole Experiment by the Scole Group and the scientists and others who attended and investigated some of the 500 sessions.
As a psychical researcher with an intimate knowledge of the contents of the Scole séance tapes, I conclude that the makers of this program have put entirely false information about the work of the Scole Experimental Group before an unsuspecting public.

The apports were sensationalised by showing them as:
- a large knife;
- approximately eight nails about 1/4 inch square and about 11/4 inches long;
- and a large brass musical instrument in a battered condition – a French horn I think.
