Brenda Sawyer, now in her nineties, and her husband, Tom, were among many witnesses to the light phenomena at The Scole Experiment (1993-1998).

On 3rd August 1997 Brenda saw multi-coloured balls of light fly around the Scole cellar, some of them diving down through the solid table and back up through it. Brenda confirms to GrantandJane.com that the balls of light provided enough illumination for the faces of other sitters to be seen.
She and Tom also spoke, via the trance mediumship of Diana Bennett of the Scole Group, to their son, Jim, who had been killed some years earlier, whilst serving in the RAF. Jim said, after his deceased grandfather had communicated clearly to Brenda (his daughter) through the empty tape recorder on the table, ‘I didn’t think I’d be able to do that’. Hence he spoke through the medium, Diana, instead.
This video came about by an interesting coincidence. There are 30 million households in the UK. When Grant’s mother, Mary, moved into residential accommodation for seniors in Torquay, her new neighbour in the flat was Brenda Sawyer. When the two ladies got chatting, they discovered their shared connection with The Scole Experiment.
